Brooke is from Charlotte, NC, and graduated from Duke University in 2024 where she studied Neuroscience and Spanish. In undergrad, she worked in a lab focusing on cognitive control and executive functioning, where she completed her senior honors thesis on the influence of anxiety and threat on cognitive map learning, and also worked in a lab focusing on speech production and language models at the Duke Comprehensive Epilepsy Center. She also loved being a TA and teaching Psychology 101 discussion sections. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, baking, going to workout classes, and going to restaurants.
