Massive congrats to recent PennLINC alum Dr. Valerie Sydnor, who was selected for the Saul Winegrad Award for Outstanding Dissertation in Neuroscience. This is a major honor: the award goes to the top neuroscience thesis from Penn across all types of research. Notably, the award recognizes not just scientific brilliance, innovation, and impact but also community outreach, teaching, and citizenship. In sum: all of it. I cannot imagine a more deserving recipient. CONGRATS, VAL!!!
